Daddy's liitle (naked) helper!?

While we were setting up our tent yesterday, Paige had to go potty, so she took off her undies and shorts and squated down in the grass and went pee! She proceeded to run around with just her t-shirt on, but eventually that came off too!? She was playing in the pool (with all the bugs and rain water...whatever keeps her busy, right?! eewww!) and running around the tent, so she joined Woody in the tent to relax:) (I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know how to relax, but she did it long enough for a picture!) Our tent:) I can't wait to use it this weekend!
Paigey in the nasty pool water (look closely in front of her and you can see all the dead water bugs at the bottom of the pool...it obviously did not bother her one bit!!?)

A day at the parade

13 adults, 16 kids and 2 grandparents lined up to watch the Freedom Days parade...Along with hundreds more people. That was just our group of friends:)

Some crazy things my girls do for the camera...

Hang upside down over the arm of the couch and make funny faces
Put swimsuit bottoms on head and run around the house
Pose with the dead dragonfly (that somehow got in our house!? I had to kill it, but refused to pick it up and throw it away! So the girls thought we had a new pet!!)

And finally, drink daddy's "pop"!? (with the cap on, of course:0)

A picnic with Olivia at "her" park

I haven't updated for a while, so the next few posts will be what we have been up to for the past week or two! About a week ago, we had a night with just Olivia. So Woody and I took her to the City Park, which as some of you know, is "Olivia's" park. Everytime we drive by she says "there's my park mom!" It was kind of a last minute thing, so we picked up McDonald's and ate it at the park and then played for a while (until we were practically getting eaten by the bugs!?).

Here we are at the table eating our yummy picnic dinner! Olivia Rose:)

Riding on the teeter totter with mom (trust me, she looks cuter on this thing than me) Racing daddy to the top of the hill
Playing and writing her name in the sand

"She wore an itsy bitsy teeny weeny white pink polka dot (& Hello Kitty) bikini...that she wore for the first time today!"

Olivia & I had some fun in the sun yesterday afternoon while Paige was napping. We got the pool out for the first time AND Olivia was finally able to wear her new Hello Kitty bikini:) She did some posing for me, but the water was a bit cold (even though I added about three buckets of really hot water!). So in the end she decided she wanted to "get a tan" by laying on MY chair!? She definitely has my skin, because she already is sporting a nice tan!
I think she's saying "Haaayyyy" Showing her badunkadunk:O
World's CUTEST wedgie:)

Gettin' her tan on!

My little girl...I mean "woman"

Olivia and I went on a walk today during Paige's nap. Woody was home "sick" today and was mowing the lawn. Oliva is obsessed with her new Dora bike & wanted me to go for a walk with her. So I was calling her Barbie girl, because her bigger bike (that we bought last year and is still a little too big) is a Barbie bike and has a little "radio" on it that only plays one song..."let's go Barbie girl, Barbie's movin', Barbie's groovin', let's go Barbie girl". We had been singing it together and then I said to her "come on little Barbie girl" and she stops her bike and says "mom, I'm NOT a girl, I'm a woman...you know, not a man, a woman". All I could do was laugh. She didn't think it was funny, she was very serious!

Another thing about her new bike, she brought it over to Frankie's house this morning & apparently her and Frankie found a pen, so she wrote her name on the seat of her bike; twice!! She thought I would be proud, because she now knows how to write her name!!? Also, Tia has the same bike, so Olivia's excuse for writing her name on it was so they wouldn't get them mixed up!?

It's been a long time...

I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post!? Where does the time go?! I just thought I would catch you up quickly with what we have been up to!

Here is Olivia after our weekend visit with Barb & Mark and great grandma & grandpa Evermann in Olivia, MN. She was exhausted & was lying on the livingroom floor watching 101 Dalmations. She had just asked me if I would read to her, but I was finishing up the dishes from dinner...she fell asleep at 6:45!
Mary, Richie & Philie at his baptism
Woody & I (and my chins) at a family friends wedding
The girls with their new "toys" from daddy...Paigey and her baby & Olivia and her new Dora bike (which she rode for about 4 or 5 hours yesterday & got up at 5:40 AM today & asked to go for a bike ride, so Woody took her!?)

I was in Chicago last week from Tuesday to Friday, so we're trying to get back to "normal" around here. I was at a conference there and had a wonderful time!! We all got tickets to go see Wicked in downtown Chicago. It was probably the best broadway show I have ever seen!! I was so excited to come home & see my family on Friday night. We were supposed to be home by 9 pm, but because of all the flooding in Wisconsin, there were many roads closed. So instead of going thru Madison, we had to drive to Milwaukee & take some back roads to get to 94, since that was closed thru Madison. I got home at midnight...and everyone was sleeeping (except my mom!).
I have mounds of laundry to do & HAVE to get to Target yet this morning! I'm baaack!!
